Discipleship Bible Study

Imagine that God gave humanity a clear map for how to follow Him: the Bible. God’s people took that map and learned all about it—its history, its various languages. Many could even use that map to win arguments. But what if, instead of actually following the map, humanity was content to simply learn about it. What if, for all of our knowledge, we never took a single step on the journey?

FBC Food Distribution

FBC Food Distribution - is an ongoing monthly food box distribution for those in need. We recognize that God has blessed us to be a blessing, the First Baptist Church of Live Oak, CA Food Ministry serves as a vehicle to share the overwhelming abundance God has showered on us with those in need in our community. Food Distribution will take place on the fourth Sunday of each month. This is a drive-through Food Pantry, with entrance on Gum St., we will load you up with quality food products, and you will exit on Pennington Road.

Food is shared with love and respect to those who come for assistance. We believe the words of Jesus that this is one way we can respond directly to God's love for us:

"For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." Matthew 25:35

If you are disabled and can’t make it to the Distribution Day, please give us a call at (530) 695-2894.
